Saccharide isomerate (also known at Pentavitin) is a plant-derived carbohydrate that mimics the composition of sugars naturally found in the skin's outermost layer, allowing the skin to hold onto moisture for much longer (A crazy 72 hours, in fact!)

Niacinamide can help improve the skin’s protective barrier by stimulating the synthesis of ceramides within the skin. Ceramides are important components of the skin that aid in maintaining strong bonds between the cells, strengthening the natural skin barrier.
